While I have been in the Christian music industry to some degree over the past 20 years (and will continue to be as the Lord directs), anyone who knows me knows that I am first and foremost, a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My calling from the Lord is “to sing His praise to the ends of the earth.” While I have not yet been able to travel “to the ends of the earth”, thankfully technology is making it possible to reach “the ends of the earth” quite literally. All of that to say that while I’m grateful for the industry apparatus, I have never wanted this ministry to be LIMITED to being a business venture that relies solely on industry ways of doing things. My heart’s passion is for ALL people to encounter the presence of God through the gifts He’s given me! My goal is to use whatever He gives me to create an environment in which people can encounter God and His transcendent realities (whether or not they fully realize that is what is going on). I want to be able to share the Gospel in places where it may not make financial sense to do so.

I also want to be able to disciple other artists so that they are free from our culture’s fascination with stardom and idol worship. (It’s tragic that we actually have a show called “American IDOL”!) As artists who know and love Jesus, we have a unique opportunity to lovingly SERVE our culture and point people away from “idol worship” and to the God who loves them.
