Dear Friend,

I pray that you and yours are well and experiencing the blessing and presence of Jesus!

Kathryn and I are so blessed and we are enjoying the wonders of being grandparents to our precious grandson, Samson Peter Dixon. He was born on March 12, 2024 and is a healthy and happy baby!

I’m writing today to give an update on the ministry transportation situation and to ask you to pray with me an opportunity that is in front of me.

When I re-started my solo ministry 14 months ago, like a lot of people in ministry (including a lot of Biblical characters), I told the Lord all of the reasons I couldn’t do it right then. One of those reasons was that I didn’t think I had adequate transportation. Of course, He wasn’t interested in my excuses and told me to get on with it!

So I have driven our 2011 Kia Sorento all over the place (nearly 40,000 miles) and it now has 240,000 miles. I am so grateful for this vehicle and it has proven very reliable (with a lot of angelic assistance, I’m sure).

Believing that God wants to provide a better transportation situation, I have been researching, educating myself, and shopping for RVs for the past year. For the past 6 weeks I have had my eye on a 2020 Tiffin Wayfarer 25 foot RV here in the Nashville area. It is a diesel, has about 25,000 miles on it, and would perfectly meet my needs (and is even the color that I asked the Lord for when I first started looking). The original asking price was around $125,000 (comparable for many other similar RVs) but the price has dropped nearly $30,000. As I have prayed about it and watched it I have had a sense that this might be “mine” but I haven’t allowed my emotions to get involved.

Just yesterday (Monday, April 22nd) I stopped by the dealer to see if it was still available and the salesman told me that it had been sold and the new owner would take delivery today (Tuesday, April 23rd). I told him to keep me posted if he heard of anything else like it and gave him my card. Then as I drove away I said, “Father, I thought that might have belonged to me so if it is indeed “mine”, I’m trusting You to bring it back to me.”

This afternoon the salesman called to say that the sale had fallen through and the RV is still available if I’m interested. I don’t know FOR SURE that God is saying this is MINE but it is interesting.

So . . . I’m asking you to pray with me about it.

AND if the Holy Spirit and your heart move you to partner with me in this situation, I would be so grateful!

I REALLY don’t want to abuse those who have trusted me with their contact information and who have shown interest in what God has called me to do. Some of you have been so generous and I am so grateful for your partnership! I was going to just pray about this myself and maybe ask a few family and close friends to pray with me but I’ve sensed the nudging of the Holy Spirit to put this out there. (“You have not because you ask not.” James 4:2)

Thank you for reading this and for praying with me!

My commitment is that whatever is given toward this will be allocated to our transportation needs (I will not use it toward other expenses). If you need/want a tax-deductible receipt for your giving, please click HERE
